Product
Everything your team works in, in one app.
Chat, tasks, notes, documents, spreadsheets and meetings share one workspace, one search and one set of permissions.
Channels and threads
Talk to the whole team in channels and direct messages, keep replies in threads, react, @mention people and share files right in the conversation.

Documents and spreadsheets
Write and edit together in real time. Documents and spreadsheets are powered by Liveblocks.
Meetings with AI summaries
Start a video meeting, get a live transcript of what you say, then an AI summary with action items and decisions.
AI writing help
Get writing help in the editor to draft, rewrite and tidy text without leaving the page.

Pages and databases
Write it down, then organise it.
Notes, plans and structured data live side by side in one page tree. Start with a document and add a database when the list gets long.
- Pages inside pages
- Nest pages up to eight levels deep, drag them to rearrange, give each an icon and star the ones you open every day. Deleted pages wait in the trash for 30 days, and Undo is one click away.
- Templates
- Start from meeting notes, a product spec, a retro, a 1:1, an onboarding plan or a wiki home. Save any page as a template for your workspace. Databases start from ready-made tasks, CRM, content, bug, reading and project setups.
- Five ways to see the same data
- Show a database as a table, a board, a list, a gallery or a calendar. Each view keeps its own filters, sorting, grouping and visible properties, so one database can be a task board for you and a timeline for a client.
- Seventeen property types
- Text, number, select, multi-select, status, date, person, checkbox, URL, email, phone, relation, rollup, formula, created time, last edited and created by. Change a type later and existing values are converted where they can be.
- Relations and rollups
- Link rows across databases, then roll the linked rows up into a total, an average, a count, a percentage or the earliest date. Rollups follow relations up to three databases deep.
- Formulas
- Calculate with text, math, date and list functions, if and ifs, and any other property. Formulas are checked as you write them, and a mistake shows a plain message instead of breaking the table.
- A table that works like a spreadsheet
- Edit cells in place, resize and reorder columns, drag rows into a new order and see sums, averages, counts and percentages in the footer of any column.
- Every row is a page
- Open a row to fill in its properties and write notes underneath, together with your team in real time.
- CSV in, CSV out
- Import a spreadsheet and WebflowX matches the columns to your properties, or creates new ones with the right type. Export the current view whenever you need it elsewhere.
Security and control
You decide who can see and do what.
Roles, private channels and an audit trail, with permissions enforced by the server and sensible limits to keep spam and abuse out.
Roles and 14 granular permissions
Start with the built-in roles, or build custom roles from the permissions you need. Give a role exactly the access it should have, and nothing more.
- Owner
- Admin
- Moderator
- Member
- Custom roles
Permissions
- Create channels
- Manage channels
- View locked channels
- Delete messages
- Manage members
- Invite people
- Edit workspace
- Moderate meetings
- Manage content
- Post in read-only channels
- Mention everyone
- Upload files
- Start meetings
- Create docs
@everyone and @channel only work for people who hold the permission.
Private and read-only channels
Lock a channel to the members you choose, or make it read-only for announcements.
Enforced on the server
Permissions are checked on the server, not just hidden in the interface.
Audit log
Role, channel, invite, member and ownership changes are recorded for owners and admins.
Invite links you control
Invite links can expire, and you can switch them off at any time. Owners can transfer ownership.
Guardrails against abuse
Rate limits and size limits protect against spam. Uploads are checked against an allowed-type list and size caps, and each workspace has a storage cap. The site sends strict security headers.
Verified accounts
New accounts confirm their email with an 8-digit code that expires in 15 minutes. Passwords can be reset by emailed code, and you can sign in with Google or GitHub.
Your data, exportable
Anyone can download their own data. Owners and admins can export the workspace; direct messages and personal notes are left out. Our Terms and Privacy Policy are public.

Our journey
How WebflowX was built.
We've been working on WebflowX for the past two years. Here's the timeline of how it got here.
01 / 05
Mid 2024
Idea, doubt, and first prototype
WebflowX began as an attempt to unify chat, tasks, and collaboration into one focused workspace. The first versions were rough, slow, and frequently rewritten, but they validated the core idea.
- Basic routing and authentication
- Unstable UI experiments
- Multiple folder structure rewrites
- Focus
- Prove the core idea
- Outcome
- A prototype that validated one workspace for chat and tasks.
02 / 05
Late 2024
Core architecture and painful refactors
As complexity increased, the focus shifted to architecture. Several early decisions were rolled back to improve scalability, real-time sync, and maintainability.
- Socket.IO integration for live updates
- Early WebRTC experiments (many failed)
- Reworked data models and permissions
- Focus
- Scalability and real-time sync
- Outcome
- Early decisions rolled back; data models and permissions reworked.
03 / 05
Early 2025
Stabilization and feature lock
Feature development slowed intentionally. The focus moved to stability, performance, and a consistent experience across the platform.
- Task system finalized
- Chat and video call flow stabilized
- AI summaries integrated cautiously
- Focus
- Stability and performance
- Outcome
- Task system finalized; chat and video calls stabilized.
04 / 05
Mid 2025 to Jun 2026
Scale and security
With the product stable, the focus moved to growth. The backend was deployed on AWS to handle growth reliably, and security was strengthened across the platform.
- Deployed the backend on AWS for scalability
- Enhanced security across the platform
- Focus
- Scalability and security
- Outcome
- Backend deployed on AWS and security strengthened across the platform.

Today
Four plans, and joining North Foundry
WebflowX now runs on four plans with clear limits, from a free plan for small teams to generous limits for large ones. Next, the product joins North Foundry to grow with a studio behind it.
- Free, Startup, Growth and Enterprise plans
- Workspaces, channels, tasks, notes, documents, spreadsheets, meetings
- AI summaries and an AI assistant built in
- Calendar, guests, two-step verification, push alerts, API and webhooks
- Focus
- Growing the product
- Outcome
- One team behind the workspace and the studio around it.
The team
The people behind WebflowX.

Built by North Foundry
Made by a studio that ships.
One place for the work
Keep conversations, tasks, documents and meetings in the same workspace instead of juggling separate tools.
Live collaboration
Messages, threads, notifications and shared documents and spreadsheets update in real time as your team works, so everyone sees the same thing.
Meetings that leave notes
Host a video meeting from your workspace, follow a live transcript, and get action items and decisions from an AI summary afterwards.
In control of access
Built-in and custom roles, locked and read-only channels, an audit log and server-enforced permissions let you decide who can do what.
Clear limits, simple plans
Start on the free plan and move up when you need more room. Every plan lists its limits up front.
Pricing
Four plans. Clear limits.
Pick the limits that fit your team. Free keeps the last 90 days of messages visible; paid plans keep everything. Limits and storage apply per workspace (the number of workspaces is per owner); meetings and AI summaries reset each month. Upgrade, change or cancel any time from workspace settings. Payments are handled by Stripe.

Enterprise storage is 1 TB under fair use. When a workspace reaches a limit, WebflowX tells you which one and shows the next plan.
Why meetings and AI have caps
Everything else is flat. These two cost us money every time they run.
Meetings
A meeting streams live audio and video through LiveKit and, with transcripts on, sends the audio to Deepgram. Both bill us by usage, so a meeting costs more the longer it runs and the more people join. A monthly count keeps that cost predictable for us, so we do not have to push it into a per-seat price.
AI summaries
Each summary runs a model over the full transcript. The provider charges for every request, so the allowance is a count per month. The writing help in the editor (improve, shorten, fix grammar) is not counted as a summary.
What this means in practice
- Chat, tasks, notes, documents and databases are not metered by use. Only storage and the limits in the table apply.
- Counts reset each month and are per workspace, not per person, so adding teammates does not use them up faster.
- When you reach a cap, WebflowX tells you which one and what the next plan allows. Nothing is deleted and nothing is billed extra.
- Even Enterprise has a cap (200 meetings and 150 summaries a month). If you need more, email us and we will work out a limit that covers our provider costs.
FAQ
Questions, answered.
Sign up, create your workspace and invite your team. You can start chatting, creating tasks and organizing projects right away.
There are four plans: Free ($0), Startup ($29), Growth ($79) and Enterprise ($249) per month, with limits applied per workspace. Higher plans raise limits on workspaces, members, channels, notes, pages and database rows, meetings per month, AI summaries per month, file storage (250 MB, 5 GB, 50 GB and 1 TB under fair use), guests, and integrations such as API keys and webhooks. The Free plan shows the last 90 days of messages; paid plans keep full history. Enterprise has no limit on workspaces, members, channels, pages or database rows, and generous monthly allowances for meetings (200) and AI summaries (150).
Yes. Attach files and images to messages, and write and edit pages, spreadsheets and databases together in real time. Uploads are checked for type and size, and each workspace has a storage cap that depends on its plan.
Yes. You can host video meetings inside your workspace, follow a live transcript, and get an AI summary with action items and decisions afterwards. The number of meetings and summaries depends on your plan.
Yes. From the Startup plan you can create API keys and incoming webhooks, so scripts and tools can read channels and tasks, post messages and create tasks. Growth adds outgoing webhooks (signed events when messages and tasks change) and a GitHub connection for pushes, pull requests, issues, releases and failed builds. Zapier and Make connect through the API and webhooks.
Yes. Guests only see the channels you add them to, and cannot open tasks, notes, documents, meetings or direct messages. Startup includes 5 guests, Growth 25, and Enterprise has no limit.
Yes. Anyone can add an authenticator app and keep backup codes in their account settings. On Growth and Enterprise, owners and admins can require two-step verification for everyone in the workspace.
Permissions are enforced on the server, not just hidden in the interface. Uploads are checked against an allowed-type list and size caps, rate limits and size limits guard against spam and abuse, and the site sends strict security headers. Read our Terms and Privacy Policy for the details of how data is handled.
Yes. There are four built-in roles (owner, admin, moderator and member) plus custom roles built from 14 permissions. You can lock channels to members you choose, make channels read-only for announcements, create invite links that expire or switch them off, review an audit log of admin actions, and transfer ownership.
Yes. New accounts confirm their email with an 8-digit code that expires after 15 minutes, and you can reset a forgotten password with a code sent by email. You can also sign in with Google or GitHub.
WebflowX emails you about mentions, direct messages, thread replies, task assignments, task comments and tasks that are almost due, but only if you have not already read them. You can also turn on push notifications. Each member can switch either off.
Yes. Anyone can download their own data, and owners and admins can export the workspace (direct messages, channels they cannot open and other people's personal notes are left out).
Yes. Each member chooses Light, Dark or Auto, and the choice is saved to their account, so it does not change anyone else's view.
Yes. WebflowX has a mobile layout with drawer navigation, and you can install it to your home screen or desktop as an app to get push notifications. On iPhone, add it to the Home Screen first. Native mobile apps are not available yet.
WebflowX explains which limit you reached and shows an upgrade prompt for the next plan. Limits cover workspaces, members, guests, channels, notes, pages and database rows, meetings per month, AI summaries per month, file storage and integrations.
